Description
154 & Paradise

Written by Gerald DiPego
Directed by Peter Frisch
The Producing Unit proudly presents the world premiere of 154 and Paradise by Gerald DiPego, the celebrated screenwriter, sole credited author of Phenomenon with John Travolta, The Forgotten with Julianne Moore, Message in a Bottle with Kevin Costner, Instinct with Anthony Hopkins, Angel Eyes with Jennifer Lopez, Sharky's Machine with Burt Reynolds, and on and on.

Peter Frisch, former director of the Granada Theater restoration and opening seasons, stage director of 160 plays, musicals, cabaret and opera presentation and producer of 150 hours of network television, directs 154 & Paradise.

154 & Paradise is an extraordinary work, part Twilight Zone, part Six Characters in Search of an Author, part 12 Angry Men, about the ways in our lives are intertwined here on earth, the ways in which our every action and every word can affect each other and tip the scales of life’s delicate balance.

DiPego is a confirmed Magic Realist, and his plays, his characters and even the settings are not quite what they seem. We hope to give this script a wonderful launch as it will definitely have "legs" and eventually reach a national audience and publication.
